The Anointing of the Sick, a sacrament of healing, is for those Catholics asking for God’s help and grace during a serious illness, struggling with a chronic disease or for someone preparing for any surgery. If you are someone in need of this sacrament, please call the parish office.
Each year St. Columbkille Parish celebrates a communal healing Mass for anyone in need of this Sacrament. This Mass is usually celebrated in mid-October and on a Sunday afternoon. Please watch the bulletin for the exact date.
Once a Month at Parma/Parma Heights Parishes offer the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick after a daily Mass. See the Schedule below. THIS IS ON HOLD DURING THE COVID CRISIS.
St. Columbkille offers the Anointing of the Sick after both our 7am and 8:15am Masses on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Following the conclusion of these Masses the presider will come down to his communion distribution station with the oil for anointing and anyone wishing to be anointed because of physical/spiritual illness or upcoming surgery may form a line and come forward. THIS PROGRAM IS ALSO ON HOLD FOR NOW.
