Director of Religious Education

Hello! My name is Shari Chamura, and it is my pleasure to be your Director of Faith Formation!

My husband, John, and I are long-time parishioners of St. Columbkille Parish. We have four adult children and six grandchildren. I have been involved in parish ministry at St. Columbkille in many different capacities throughout my entire adult life culminating in my current role as the Director of Faith Formation. I have been blessed through the years by my very supportive family and the many friends I have made at St. Columbkille who, together, empower me to serve in a ministry that I love.

Besides holding a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management, I hold the Master Catechist and the Parish Catechetical Leader certifications through the Diocese of Cleveland. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking / hiking, and traveling – especially to the beach! As Director of Faith Formation at St. Columbkille, I am humbled by the opportunity to share my faith and to offer support to fellow parishioners as we all strive to know, love, and serve God.
