Rachael Armbruster

Director of Marketing

and Communications

Hello! My name is Rachael Armbruster, and I am the Director of Marketing and Communications! I am so excited to be here at my home parish.

I am a graduate of Kent State University with BFAs in Visual Communication Design and Musical Theatre. I have always loved art, precision, and communication, so finding a career in Marketing and Communications was a no brainer for me! My family has been parishioners here at St. Columbkille from the beginning, and we have all attended SCS at some point in our lives! I have been active in the parish, specifically in Music Ministry, since I was 10 years old cantering with my mom, and am happy to be also serving as an Extraordinary Minister. My background includes event planning, coaching, computer repair, project management, and graphic design. I have been truly blessed to experience such a wide array of individuals and learn something new everywhere I go.

Some fun facts about me include: my favorite font is Bodoni, you can always find me with a cup of coffee in my hand, and I never leave the house without a book in my purse! In the evenings, more likely than not, I am probably in rehearsal for my next theatrical performance! I started performing in musicals when I was 7 years old, and have never stopped. My passion for musical theater has grown so much over the years that in college, I decided to take it a step further and double major in Musical Theatre. Some personal favorite roles of mine include Katherine in Weathervane’s production of Newsies, Gabrielle in Near West’s Cinderella, Deb in Cassidy’s Ordinary Days, Sr. Mary Martin of Tours in The Player’s Guild’s Sister Act, The Narrator in The Player’s Guild’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

I couldn’t be happier to be serving the parish of St. Columbkille, and am excited to grow as a disciple of our Lord in the same place my faith journey began.
