PSR & CLOW Director

Hello! I'm Megan McDonald, Co-Director of Faith Formation for our parish! I studied Theology at Franciscan University and previously taught high school Theology at Trinity High School. In addition to teaching, during my 9 years at Trinity I served as the Theology Department Chairperson, Campus Minister, and Director of Service Learning. I have a passion for sharing and teaching the faith, which I am excited to continue here at St. Columbkille. I also love to learn, which is why the Catechism is one of my favorite books and I lean on the saints (especially Mama Mary) because of what they can teach us. I value my family more than anything! I married my college sweetheart, James, and we have 2 kids, Jameson and Hadley, who are our whole world and make our life so much cuter! 

I am a Theology nerd, coffee addict, and I enjoy reading the Catechism, church documents, and making lesson plans. I love ice cream, Christmas movies, and HGTV.

Mother Teresa said, "If you want to change the world, go home and love your family." This certainly has been my prayer as I am humbly called by God to serve here at my own parish. I am here to love and serve and be a disciple of Christ to declare His glory to the Nations (Mt. 28:19)!
