SCS Principal 

It is my pleasure to introduce myself as Principal of St. Columbkille School! I am looking forward to a successful school year, and building relationships with all our community members. 

My husband, Sean, and I have two daughters, and a Chocolate Lab named Coco. Theresa is 6 years old and will be starting First Grade. Adeline is 4 years old and she will be in Pre-Kindergarten. I grew up in Olmsted Falls, Ohio and moved to Tucson, Arizona in 2006. My family and I are excited to be back home with our family and friends. 

The 2022-2023 school year will be the start of my 16th year as an educator. My career began in Tucson, Arizona at Manzanita Elementary School in the Catalina Foothills School District. I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, and spent a few years as a Reading Specialist. While I spent the majority of my career at Manzanita Elementary, I also have experience as a PreK-6 Curriculum Coach in Huntsville City Schools in Alabama. My husband's job relocated us to Huntsville for a couple of years. In 2015, we moved back to Tucson, Arizona, and I was blessed to be welcomed back to Manzanita. 

I believe students are at the center of any school-related decision. I believe education is a collaborative effort involving teachers, staff, students, and families. With a collective community effort, I believe all students will succeed. I am excited to bring my experiences to a warm and welcoming community. I look forward to meeting you all, and working together to foster growth for all our students in academics and in faith. I know as we work together, the Lord will lead us daily through our journey and work together within the school and our community.
